Over 80 HPA members gathered in the evening of January 10, 2019 at First Lutheran Church at 1515 N. Cascade in Colorado Springs for our 2019 Annual Membership Meeting.  New board member, Meghan Crandall, was voted in for her first three-year term.  Our guest presenter was Anna Cordova, the lead archaeologist with the City of Colorado Springs/Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department – one of only two municipally funded archaeologist positions in Colorado.  Her presentation –  Stewardship of Colorado Springs’ Archaeological Resources – provided a fascinating look at the history of the material cultural of humans, under our feet.

We celebrated with a special 20th anniversary cake and a renewed commitment toward our mission!
