Become A Member of the Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs – and start taking advantage of all the great benefits today!

The Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs (HPA) provides leadership, education and advocacy to save our diverse and irreplaceable heritage and to revitalize our neighborhoods.  We rely on the generosity of our members and supporters to carry out our mission.

Whether you are the owner or occupant of an historic building, a person who values cultural landscapes and archaeological sites, or are a citizen or visitor who appreciates and desires to maintain our historic beauty, we invite you to become a member of this alliance of citizens who care about Colorado Springs, its past and its future.

Members receive a membership card that provides FREE admission to all regular HPA meetings, seminars and our celebrated and fascinating Summer Tours.  Members also receive invitations to special members-only activities and the Annual Historic Preservation Awards Gala.

You may join at any time, online or by mailing a check.  Annual renewals for existing members occur quarterly.

Membership form:  To join or renew by check, please print, complete and MAIL THIS FORM to HPA, PO Box 345, Colorado Springs, CO 80901.

Easy (really!) Tips to Join ONLINE:  This link “Join Online” takes you to our online Shopping Cart, where you can select which Membership Level and associated benefits best fit your desire to support the HPA.

  1. Click on the PHOTO; this takes you to a description page. In the right column, click the green horizontal bar “ADD TO CART” under the box marked “Qty.”
  2. Then go to the far TOP of the page to the gray bar where a few black icons reside. Find the small shopping cart and the arrow pointing to the right. CLICK the right arrow – this takes you to the CHECKOUT page.
  3. In the STEP 1 box, under “New Customer” and click the Circle for “Guest Checkout.”  Then click the green box labeled “Continue.”
  4. Now you are in Step 2 where your personal contact information is needed.  When you have everything filled in, click the green box labeled “Continue.”
  5. Continue through the steps to “Payment Method” and provide your credit or debit card information.

GREAT NEWS! The City of Colorado Springs Planning Commission has unanimously approved HistoricCOS – the City’s new Historic Preservation Master Plan. City Council reviewed the plan during their worksession on Nov. 25 – and has sent it onto the final adoption Dec. 10.  Reader friendly and extremely informative – click here to access the plan and learn more!
