National Museum of WW II Aviation

This is a unique museum, dedicated solely to American aviation history during the World War II era.  The main venue is a comprehensive depiction of the stories of science and technology, aircraft testing and development,  invention,  bravery, skill and commitment  which made the difference in winning the war.   The museum contains numerous historical displays and artifacts of this critical time for our nation. In addition the WestPac Restorations venue will take us behind  the scenes, showing us the complicated  process of restoring actual aircraft recovered and then re-assembled to original flying condition.
