Summer Tour Schedule

The Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs (HPA) provides leadership, education and advocacy to save our diverse historic heritage and to revitalize our neighborhoods. We invite you to participate in this network of citizens who care about Colorado Springs, its past and its future.

A highlight of our calendar year is our Summer Historic Tour program. Tours are held on eight consecutive Thursday evenings in July and August with an entry fee of $10 per person per Tour. There will be membership forms available at the July Tours.

The Summer Tours are free to those who have already paid membership dues for 2013 (if so, your mailing has a colored dot next to this paragraph).

Because of parking issues on some tours, you may be asked to carpool. Please read each tour description to see if carpooling is recommended or required.

Please carefully note the starting time for each Tour.  Member check-in and guest registrations begin 30 minutes prior to each START time noted above.  As a courtesy to our Tour Guides, please allow adequate time for travel and check-in/registration as Tours WILL begin on time.

Remember that Colorado summer evenings are unpredictable--come prepared with light jacket, comfortable shoes, water, and umbrella.  Please – no pets!
