90 attendees gathered at the historic Broadmoor on May 11, 2018 for the inaugural Pikes Peak Preservation Forum, presented by the Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs.

We came together around one common theme:  historic places matter.

We left inspired, informed and engaged – ready to take action in our own neighborhoods and commercial areas.

We honored the Broadmoor’s Centennial year with a special luncheon award presentation, and heard uplifting news from the El Pomar Foundation. 18 presenters shared their vision, experience and talents – and all in a stunning setting at the legendary Broadmoor, at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain. Our generous sponsors made the day possible.

Over the next year, we will be sharing tools and tips, stories and strategies to empower citizens in Colorado Springs and across our region to TAKE ACTION, SPEAK OUT and SAVE the essential places and spaces that matter in our lives and for generations to come.
