Tree planting

The Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs in honor of National Preservation Month and the vision of our Mayor, John Suthers, to plant 18,071 trees in honor of our Sesquicentennial has arranged with the City Forester to plant a tree on the edge of Boddington Field in the Old North End on May 14, 4:00 pm. We invite you to this short ceremony and to bear witness to our planting of a sturdy Red Oak that will bring shade and color to our park for decades to come. We will take a commemorative photograph to share with everyone. No reservations required, just bring a shovel as a prop if you would like.
