We are pleased to present the 2nd Annual PIKES PEAK PRESERVATION FORUM – an exciting, informational and inspirational one-day conference celebrating National Preservation Month. For everyone interested in saving historic places.
Early registration is open now! View our Preliminary Schedule of Activities here.
SAVE THE DATE NOW. Seriously. Access your Outlook and Google calendars and let your friends and family know that you’ll be otherwise engaged the entire wonderful day. You will want to be at this event, in a gorgeous National Register setting at Grace and St. Stephens Episcopal Church just north of downtown Colorado Springs. It’s easy, casual and we’re keeping it very affordable thanks to partial funding by a History Colorado State Historical Fund grant.
Joining us to kick off the event with an opening plenary presentation is Annie Levinsky, Executive Director of Historic Denver and a Colorado College alum. The conference schedule is being refined now, featuring concurrent educational sessions, workshops and tours with experienced professionals and tradespeople in the field of historic preservation. Plus, a delicious locally prepared lunch and good snacks to keep you fueled and fired up!
SPONSORSHIPS at various levels and coordinating benefits are available now. Contact Roxanne Eflin, HPA Board President and Forum Chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
ATTENTION ALL HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSIONS in Southern Colorado: CLG training is being provided at Forum, presented by Erica Duvic, Colorado’s CLG Coordinator! Meet your annual training requirement, network with fellow Commissioners and have fun, too. Open to everyone.
