Summer Tours Instructions 2021 - Scroll Down to Register

The Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs (HPA) provides
leadership, education and advocacy to celebrate and save our diverse historic
heritage and to revitalize our neighborhoods. We invite you to participate in
this network of citizens who care about Colorado Springs, its past and its future.

We are having a GREAT summer tour schedule and the response from our members has been overwhelming.  WE ARE NOW FULLY RESERVED for the rest of the tours and registration is closed!

The Summer Historic Tours are held in July and August. Paid members may attend the summer tours and many other events, such as our acclaimed Winter Lecture series and May Preservation Month activities – all included in the membership. Guests may attend for a voluntary donation of $10 for each event. If you are NOT a member, we encourage you to renew or join. You can do so at our website at www.hpasprings.org.

Please note our Summer Tours typically occur on Thursday evenings beginning at 6:30 PM, with registration at 6:00. Tours WILL begin on time. Colorado summer evenings are unpredictable so come prepared with light jackets, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, water, umbrella, flashlight, etc. Please – no pets!

IMPORTANT UPDATES and SPECIAL INFORMATION:

NEWS:  ALL TOURS ARE NOW FULLY RESERVED AND REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.

Our participation has grown and we have exceeded 100 persons at some of our tours – which is why pre-registration is required. We may experience even larger numbers due to people being excited to get out again. Although our committee sought venues of mostly outdoor spaces, there still may be some restrictions due to fire codes, inadequate space or the inability to divide into smaller groups under multiple tour guides. Hand sanitizer bottles will be available for your safety and please plan to wear a mask and be mindful of all the COVID-19 safety requirements we have all lived with for the past year, including social distancing.

In consideration of participating in HPA tours, the participant assumes and releases the HPA and its volunteers, employees, agents, and independent contractors from any and all risks of or liability for physical, emotional, or economic harm, injury, or damage caused by or arising from the acts, omissions, or negligence of the HPA, HPA volunteers, independent contractors, the participant him/herself, or any other person or entity.

We can’t wait to see you again!
