SUMMARY:2024 Summer Tour - #1 Thomas MacLaren Homes (SOLD OUT!)
DESCRIPTION:This tour is limited to 100 participants. \nThis tour is now fully sold out but we encourage you to still add your name to the wait list and as spots become open if you are next on the list you will be notified. MEMBERS will still receive first priority for open seats and NON-MEMBERS will be offered tickets upon Member completion.  \nCheck-in time: 6:00 p.m. Tour starts at 6:30 p.m. \nMembers are free. Non-Members $10 \nWe will begin our evening in the ballroom of the Alexander House. Historian Barry Binder will do a presentation on the architect\, Thomas MacLaren\, and his prolific work in Colorado Springs. We will divide into 4 groups to then tour the Alexander House\, the garden and outbuilding at 125 W. Fontenero\, the former carriage house at 1829 Alamo\, and the former stable at 1821 Alamo. \nHPA Coordinator: Carol Beans\n \nTour Guide: Barry Binder \nWaiver: All attendees must sign the updated 2024 HPA Liability Waiver. DOWNLOAD HERE and bring with you or sign at the venue. \nParking: Available on side streets. \nDisabled access: No \nRestrooms: No \n\n\nPlease note: 2024 Summer Tour Update: \n\n\nWe are excited to announce the tours for the upcoming 2024 Summer Series! The HPA\, in appreciation of our member’s support\, is prioritizing reservations when attendance limitations apply. Reservations will be taken on a first come first serve basis by signing up for your preferred tours below. This also means that members will be given a place before “guests” or non-members. If a member wishes to include a guest\, that guest will be put on the wait list until and if a cancellation occurs and they are first on the wait list. We will email everyone who has a reservation before each tour to confirm that they still intend to attend. Cancellations will be handled on the website and through the link provided in your confirmation email.
