To celebrate Colorado Springs’ 150th anniversary of its founding by General William Jackson Palmer, the Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs has launched a new donor category: The Friends of the Sesquicentennial. One of the benefits of becoming a “Friend” includes special recognition here, with our abiding appreciation for your interest in history and generous support at the $150 level of the Historic Preservation Alliance.

From September 2020 through December 2021, we will be joining our colleagues around the city in acknowledging our city’s remarkable history, irreplaceable heritage, landmarks and archaelogy, landscapes that define our unique and distinctive character, culture and people that have shaped our past and will do so for our future.

Thank you to the following Sesquicentennial Friends (note that this list is growing daily!):
