This tour will begin with a presentation covering the earliest history of the property beginning with the Jewett Family, who conceived of, built and enjoyed living in their spectacular mansion, one of the most stunning properties on North Cascade Avenue. Our beautiful Patty Jewett Golf Course is named after the former owner of the church property. The talk also covers the time when Ralph Giddings, owner of Giddings Department Store, resided here and concludes with the current First Lutheran Church period. The original architect drawings will be available to view as well as the drawings of the renovation project.
