2nd Summer Tour: The McAllister House Museum

July 20 @ 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

The McAllister House is a landmark in our city and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built for Major Henry McAllister and his family in 1873. The Major served in the Union Army during the Civil War under General William Palmer. Our tour with 3 docents will discuss the architecture, artifacts and history of the property outside on the lawn. We will also be guided through the 150 year old home in groups of 20. Chairs will be set up for our time outside.

Parking: Directly behind the McAllister House in the lot of the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors (430 N. Tejon), turn into lot off of N. Tejon or E. St. Vrain Street.

This tour is limited to 60 participants so please register to reserve your spot.
Check-in time: 6:00 pm.  Tour starts at 6:30 pm.
