Hank Krause

Vice President

I am a native of Colorado Springs and lived as a child in the old Antlers Hotel. My grandfather was General Palmer’s Business Manager and executor of his estate. After receiving my Master’s in Urban Planning from CU Boulder, I worked as a city planner for Littleton until an architect friend and I started a construction company that specialized in the renovation of Victorian homes. This experience led to my getting a Class A Denver contractor’s license and working for multi-national development companies managing the construction of nearly 3 million square feet of commercial development in Denver. Historic preservation projects I have managed are the 225,000sf Tivoli Brewery redevelopment on the Auraria Campus, the Vance Kirkland Studio/Museum and the Edbrooke Lofts.

Trish Fletcher

Board Member

I am honored to be nominated to serve on the Board of the Historical Preservation Alliance. I moved to Colorado Springs in August 2019 after a 23-year career with a private development firm in Houston, Texas, where I served as Regional Supervisor overseeing the construction, management, and maintenance of multiple luxury mid-rise communities. Over the last decade, my passion for bringing vision and purpose to existing historic structures has deepened, particularly since making Colorado Springs my home. Since relocating, I have supported my husband’s commercial civil construction company, Terra Builders LLC, in various roles. Outside of work, I am a proud mother to one daughter and “Gigi” to two wonderful grandchildren in Sandpoint, Idaho. My husband Stephan and I have been together since 2002, sharing a love of travel, hiking, gardening, and healthy cooking. We aspire to become expert campers in the years ahead, though our favorite escape remains the remote islands of the Bahamas. I look forward to contributing my experience, energy, and dedication to the mission of the Historical Preservation Alliance, and to working alongside the board to preserve and celebrate the history that enriches our community.

Thank you for supporting The Historic Preservation Alliance!
