The ever-popular Art on the Streets program is sponsored by The Downtown Partnership. This is a year-long exhibit of outdoor sculpture and murals, displayed in strategic locations throughout downtown Colorado Springs. Involving both local artists and those from far beyond our city limits, this program has become one of the most successful art shows in the region, celebrating the power of art in the public. Art on the Streets provides a city-wide identity, it enhances the prestige and beauty of our downtown, it certainly enlivens our visual image, it provides a means for cultural expression, it fosters dialogue and it contributes to our quality of life. We will visit numerous past and present competition winners in a relaxed, easy stroll. By all means bring your cameras.
