About this lecture:  Presenter Chuck Benson will follow on with an examination of the important and noteworthy architectural icons of the Pikes Peak Region to include religious, academic, commercial, and residential works of note. Many of these buildings are alive and well, but some have been sadly demolished over the years. All have defined the architectural fabric of the Pikes Peak Region!

Dave Alvarez and Chuck Benson have been talking to interested audiences on Art & Architectural historical & contemporary topics for many years here in town. They have both presented in recent times at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, and the Pillar Institute for Learning. Both of them thoroughly enjoy making Art & Architecture come alive!

Check-in begins at 5:45 with a tour of The Peel House at 6, followed by the lecture at 6:30.
